This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and infrastructure solutions that enable seamless software delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Azure DevOps, scripting, and automation, with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving. As a Senior DevOps Developer, you will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure our deployment processes are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to optimizing our delivery pipelines, enhancing reliability, and supporting compliance requirements, positioning Argyle Infotech at the forefront of DevOps excellence.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in DevOps practices. Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including both YAML and Classic pipelines, is essential. The candidate should have extensive scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate build, deployment, and maintenance tasks. A solid understanding of CI/CD principles, deployment strategies, and Azure cloud services is required. Familiarity with secure DevOps practices, including identity management and secrets handling, is critical. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams are necessary for success. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML and Classic) to support continuous integration and delivery workflows. Provide guidance, troubleshooting, and support to application development teams to resolve pipeline issues efficiently. Manage pipelines for internal DevOps initiatives, ensuring high availability and performance. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual errors. Configure and maintain Azure DevOps service connections, deployment targets, and environment integrations, ensuring secure and reliable connections. Implement best practices for secrets management, identity, and access control to uphold security standards. Support compliance requirements such as SOX by maintaining detailed documentation and ensuring audit readiness. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational objectives. Act as a subject matter expert in DevOps best practices, coaching team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within build and release pipelines promptly, minimizing downtime. Develop and maintain rollback strategies and operational runbooks to facilitate quick recovery from failures. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize pipelines, reduce deployment times, and enhance system reliability.
