Part-Time Site Coordinator - Industrial Services

Job Description Part-Time | Approximately 20–30 hours per week PSI Repair Services is seeking a Part-Time Site Coordinator to manage our Repairable Asset Control (RAC) program at customer locations in Southwest Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently in a customer-facing, operational role and has experience in manufacturing, maintenance, purchasing, or service coordination. The position involves primarily supporting a customer site in St. Joseph, MI , with periodic travel (approximately once per week) to a second site in Grand Rapids . Position Overview The RAC Coordinator is responsible for managing and tracking a customer's repairable industrial assets, coordinating repairs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. This is a hands-on, on-site role working directly with customer personnel and PSI teams to ensure equipment is repaired, tracked, and returned efficiently. Why This Role is Unique Part-time schedule with consistent weekly hours Independent role with high ownership and responsibility Opportunity to work inside industrial and manufacturing environments Ideal for professionals seeking flexibility without sacrificing meaningful work Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer personnel Track location, status, and repair progress of customer assets Coordinate repair activities between customer and PSI teams Identify cost-saving opportunities related to repair vs. replacement Maintain accurate records and asset tracking data Generate weekly status updates and monthly cost-savings reports Communicate with internal PSI teams regarding repairs, shipments, and timelines Participate in customer meetings as needed Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Preferred Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, purchasing, or warehouse operations Experience working with inventory systems or databases Experience coordinating repairs, parts, or service activities Work Schedule & Travel Part-time: approximately 20–30 hours per week Primary location: St. Joseph, MI Travel: approximately once per week to Grand Rapids, MI Hourly rate within this range is based on experience, with preference given to candidates who can work independently and have prior experience in industrial, maintenance, or service environments.
