Position Title: Coordinator, Social Media & CreativeSummary: The Coordinator, Social Media & Creative sits within the social media team and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of the brand’s global social presence, while also playing an active role in concepting and producing original content. This is not a purely operational role: content creation is a core part of the job, not an occasional add-on.We are looking for someone who has a genuine creative practice — someone who shoots and edits regularly, thinks carefully about visual language, and has a real perspective on what makes content feel intentional and culturally relevant. Strong organizational skills and social media fundamentals are equally important. The ideal candidate brings both.This role reports into the Director, Social.Please include a portfolio, Instagram handle, or any link in your resume that shows us your creative work. Applications without a creative sample will not be considered.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Concept, shoot, and edit original content for Instagram, TikTok, and beyond — including photo, video, Reels, and Stories — as a regular part of the roleBring creative ideas to the table with intention: new formats, unexpected executions, and concepts that reflect a strong understanding of the brand’s aesthetic and cultural positioningUse AI image and video generation tools to develop, composite, and enhance contentStay closely attuned to what is happening in culture — across fashion, music, and art — and bring that awareness into content thinkingSupport day-to-day content scheduling and calendar management across platforms using Sprout Social; Primary: Instagram (Feed & Stories), TikTok, Secondary: X, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, APAC: Weibo, WeChat, Redbook (Xiaohongshu), DouyinAssist with community management across brand channels in accordance with brand guidelines and platform best practicesSupport management of the Alexander Wang Broadcast Channel, including scheduling and postingCompile weekly performance reports using Excel, PowerPoint, Sprout Social, and LeftyCollaborate cross-functionally with PR, design, and e-commerce teams to support broader brand initiativesPosition Requirements:0–1 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related creative field — internship experience countsAn active creative practice: you shoot and edit content with intention, and you have work you’re proud to share — a portfolio or body of work is required for considerationProficiency in photo and video editing, whether through Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, native platform tools, or a combination — you know your way around post-production and it shows in the outputHands-on experience with AI image or video generation tools, and an instinct for how to use them creatively rather than as a shortcutA distinct point of view on visual storytelling — you can articulate what makes an image or video work, and your own work reflects that thinkingDeep, current knowledge of Instagram and TikTok — not just as a user, but as someone who understands the creative and cultural dynamics of each platformAwareness of emerging talent, underground scenes, and cultural conversations before they go mainstreamStrong organizational skills and attention to detail — able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with careFamiliarity with the Alexander Wang brand and aesthetic is strongly preferredWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/D/F/V.In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $65,000 to $67,000 which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required.
