The Director of Clinical Services will provide oversight of our suite of clinical services including individual therapy, group therapy, treatment planning, and charting compliance. The Director of Clinical Services will lead a team of clinicians and administrators that ensure our program remains evidenced-based, outcomes-driven, clinically excellent, and fiscally responsible.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESReports directly to the COO and Clinical DirectorWith the direction of the Clinical Director, lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical short and long-term goals and objectives focusing on clinical outcomes, quality, value, and experienceInitiate, develop, and monitor clinical practice guidelines such that they remain in compliance with policies/procedure/guidelines for all funding/credentialing bodiesReview clinical chart documentation daily/weekly in EMR system on a timely basis; providing feedback and guidance on documenting medical necessity appropriatelyConduct interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsPerform quality reviews of client files, provide clinical guidance, and ensure timely and quality completion of documentationProvide staff with updates/tools to ensure continued ongoing excellence in service delivery, quality, compliance with program philosophy and behavior managementDemonstrate leadership to promote cooperation and portray a professional image to the communityEnsure timely submission of regular programmatic and management reports, as requiredBe on 24-hour call for emergencies, and respond accordinglyResponsible for training, overseeing training compliance, supervision, and scheduling for clinical staff and internsReview each assigned employee’s job performance on a yearly basis (or more often if necessary)Performs other related job duties as required or neededEXPERIENCE/SKILLSStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work autonomously or with a teamStrong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in a group settingAbility to prioritize efficiently with the ability to adapt quicklyMust be detail-orientedMust be a motivational leader who is able to inspire, direct, coach, and motivate a team of cliniciansStrong Experience with Behavioral Health, Pharmacology, and Medical Management for Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring DisordersExperience working with populations experiencing health disparities, criminal justice involvement, those diagnosed with substance use and mental health disorders, and those with co-existing developmental disorders and health co-morbiditiesMust be a highly motivated individual with a high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness to work outside defined job responsibilitiesREQUIREMENTS:Master’s Degree in a relevant Health and Human Services field License in the State of Georgia as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (required)Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Executive level or higher management level experience overseeing care managementExperience in Healthcare/Behavioral Health.Experience in the full-cycle revenue cycle management of billing.While not required, it is desirable that the selected candidate hold a current certification as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS)
