Job Title: Electrical EstimatorLocation: Cranberry Township, PennsylvaniaType: Direct HireCompensation: Up to $115,000.00Contractor Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remoteHours: 40.0 hours per weekOverviewSenior Electrical Estimator to deliver precise project cost estimates, manage vendor quotes, and support competitive bids.Responsibilities+ Project Review: Analyze project plans, drawings, schedules, and specifications to determine total scope.+ Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.+ Software Estimation: Utilize McCormick and Bluebeam to generate precise project estimates.+ Market Analysis: Adjust estimates based on current market conditions, regional labor rates, and material costs.+ Bid Prep & Support: Build comprehensive bid proposals with the team and present technical pricing rationale at bid meetings.+ Vendor Procurement: Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.+ Cost Tracking: Generate regular reports on cost tracking metrics and overall estimating accuracy.+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management teams to resolve technical ambiguities.Requirements+ Experience: Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience in the construction industry.+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.+ Technical Software: Proficiency with McCormick, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.+ Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical construction practices, methodologies, and materials for both new builds and renovations.+ Specialized Tech: Familiarity with GIS, StatCom, and advanced substation technologies.+ Local Regulations: Knowledge of local construction markets and regional building codes.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
