Role: Lead/Sr. Java FS DeveloperLocation: McLean, VADuration: C2H 6 month Contract and after fulltimeJob Description:Full Stack Java Developer with AWSExperienceExperience to Architect, design, develop, test and deploy, applications both on-prem and on cloudStrong coding skills in Java, J2EE and Microservices, Springboot framework.Experience with designing and developing REST APIs and integrating with external applicationsExperience with reverse engineering, troubleshooting and re-platforming applicationsBe hands-on building back-end micro services using Java and AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS with full ownership of shipping user-facing enterprise products.Participate in design reviews, code reviews of your work and the work of your peer engineers.Experience with Linux shell, Linux scripting, Maven, git (or equivalent), Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD and continuous integration/continuous deploymentBasic Experience with AWSDynamo, MySQL or Aurora DB experienceExperience in Docker - Good to haveMonitoring - Splunk knowledge, Kafka, New Relic - good to haveExperience developing software with test automation or Test-driven Development.Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex distributed issues in a production environment.Develop products using agile methods and tools.Work side by side with your scrum team to deliver high quality software on time.
