Major Responsibilities:System EnhancementsFollow the development life cycle and adhere to the standard proceduresSupport acquisitions work for the Kronos iSeries systemResearch and resolve issues identified in systems and interfacesDetermine root cause for problems and implement improvements to prevent repeated occurrencesAssist with project/product releases.Actively participate in design and development assignmentsThoroughly understand assigned applications and system architectureConduct research for understanding new industry technologies as needed.Consistently deliver according to commitments and project plan dates.Collaborate with business analysts on project requirements.Participate in troubleshooting activities when complex issues ariseWork on assignments involving the use of various technologies both old and new.Provide creative solutions and database/software management scenarios to address new and unique business requirementsPay Policies/ConfigurationInterpret and convert complex facility pay policy requirements at the direction of the Payroll Service Centers, Corp Compensation and local marketsConfigure and maintain 3rd party time & attendance software (UKG WFM and Kronos iSeries Timekeeper) for major initiatives as well as ongoing maintenanceFulfill certain roles as assigned by management, such as overall testing coordination & documentation, special group planning & review coordination, overall help-desk ticket coordination, etc.Perform light application development as required. Hardware/Time clocksSupport end users nationwide as second level support on software and hardware (UKG WFM/Kronos time clocks)Customer SupportTroubleshoot issues with UKG WFM and Kronos timekeeping system to determine if the issue is related to configuration set up.Work in a team environment with very integrated team member roles (i.e. consultant configuration specialists, RPG programming staff, Customer Support Services, Payroll Service Center teams, etc) to support all major initiatives (Lawson deployment, Payroll Consolidation) and ongoing maintenance. QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred3 or more years of relevant work experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, BehaviorsGrowth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworksRelationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customersAbility to identify, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder prioritiesStrong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience determining and overseeing application development initiatives and estimating resource requirementsExcellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to assist with decision making and independently resolve software engineering problemsExpertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumenStrong experience in understanding business partner and client needsDemonstrated success in defining and building productsDemonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writingUnderstanding of agile methodology and software development lifecycles
