Removes spoiled product that is short-dated from inventory and repacking full cases into smaller quantities. Responsible for quality check of all produce pick locations. Pulls for dump or salvage any produce with decay or otherwise not meeting shipping requirements. Reports any dumps or salvage to Inventory Control. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Position Responsibilities:Daily produce slot checkIn bound quality check on produceMaking sure produce meets customers’ expectations. Re boxing produce when needed. Maintain inventory updates dailyPerform other related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or Equivalent1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environmentAbility to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skillsMust be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the positionAble to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shiftAble to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dryPass post offer drug test and criminal background checkCompensation$21.50 per hour
