Program Obsolescence Lead
For our client, we are seeking a Program Obsolescence Lead to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Aerospace & Defense environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annuallyResponsibilities Develop program statements of work and understand component application requirements Create and manage obsolescence mitigation strategies through collaboration with various functional groups Implement a proactive Obsolescence Management process to achieve cost-effective solutions Support lifetime buys and part selections to resolve obsolescence issues Present mitigation strategies and risks to program leadership for consensus building Regularly communicate status and updates on obsolescence strategies to program and customer leadership Conduct trade studies to identify cost-saving redesign opportunitiesQualifications Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in component obsolescence management methodologies Strong data collection, analysis, and presentation skills for discussing system impacts of obsolescence Proficient in Bill of Material (BOM) management for both developmental and production programs Experience with proposal development, project management, and integration of stakeholder needs U.S. citizenship and ability to maintain a government-issued security clearance are mandatoryBenefits Company values emphasize trust, respect, accountability, collaboration, and innovation Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match and flexible spending accounts Paid time off, holidays, and parental leave Employee Scholar Program for personal development opportunitiesOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
