The TPM translates the VP of Operational Readiness's standards and frameworks into site-level execution, serving as the primary operations representative across Construction, Engineering, EHS, PMO, Commissioning agents, 3PDC operators, and tenants. Managing multiple sites concurrently across varying stages of development, the TPM ensures operational requirements are embedded early and carried through to a clean, accountable handoff. In close partnership with the Technical Operations Manager (TOM) and Technical Operations Engineer (TOE), the TPM validates 3PDC operator readiness, drives punch list items through completion, and executes a deliberate transfer of ownership to the TOM before transitioning to the next site in the portfolio.What You'll DoOperational Readiness & Design CoordinationRepresent Operations as the primary site-level stakeholder during design and pre-construction phases, ensuring operational requirements, maintainability, and Galaxy's operating standards are reflected in project deliverablesPartner with Engineering & Operations Reliability and Construction teams to identify and resolve design gaps that could impact operational performance or safety post-turnoverEnsure that the site as built aligns with the operating model Galaxy intends to execute under, surfacing discrepancies early and driving resolution through the appropriate channelsMaintain visibility into project schedules and proactively surface risks to operational readiness timelines to the VP of Operational ReadinessCommissioning OversightServe as Operations' site-level representative throughout the commissioning process, ensuring systems are commissioned in alignment with the technical standards set by Engineering & Operations ReliabilityCoordinate between Commissioning agents, Engineering, Construction, and 3PDC operators to align on scope, sequencing, and acceptance criteriaValidate that commissioning outcomes meet the technical and operational thresholds required for turnoverMaintain commissioning records that support audit readiness and serve as reference documentation for the TOM post-handoff3PDC Operator Readiness & TurnoverWork alongside the TOM and TOE to assess and validate 3PDC operator readiness ahead of turnover milestones — including procedure readiness, staffing, training records, and site familiarizationEnsure operators have the documentation, qualifications, and site-specific knowledge required to assume operational responsibility at RFSOwn the punch list process through final item completion, ensuring all outstanding items are resolved and formally accepted before turnover is executedExecute a structured, documented handoff to the TOM upon turnover completion and disengage to focus on the next site in the portfolioCross-Functional Program ManagementServe as the primary operations liaison across all project stakeholders, maintaining alignment and accountability across PMO, Construction, Engineering, EHS, Commissioning agents, 3PDC operators, and tenantsMaintain a clear and current picture of each site's readiness status across all workstreams and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to the VP of Operational ReadinessPartner with PMO to ensure operational milestones are integrated into the master project schedule and tracked to completionDrive the resolution of cross-functional dependencies that could impact readiness timelines or turnover qualityEHS & Compliance IntegrationEnsure EHS requirements are accounted for throughout commissioning and turnover activities in coordination with the EHS teamValidate that site conditions, operator practices, and life-safety systems meet applicable standards prior to turnoverEnsure regulatory and compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and transferable to the TOM at handoffTenant CoordinationWhere applicable, engage with tenants and their representatives throughout the commissioning and turnover process to ensure alignment on timelines, access, and operational expectationsServe as the operational point of contact for tenant-facing questions and commitments during the pre-turnover phase, coordinating with the TOM on items that will carry forward post-handoffWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in data center operations, commissioning, or critical facilities program managementDemonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in mission-critical environmentsStrong technical foundation in electrical, mechanical, and controls systems common to data center environmentsExperience owning commissioning and turnover processes in a structured, milestone-driven environmentProven ability to manage multiple concurrent sites and stakeholder relationships without loss of detail or accountabilityStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity for diverse audiences across organizational levelsBonus PointsPrior experience in hyperscale or large-scale data center environmentsFamiliarity with OSHA, NFPA, NETA, and relevant IEC/IEEE standardsExperience working within or alongside a formal PMO structureBackground in construction management, critical systems
