We continue to build our capacity as we expand our programs to more districts.The RoleThe Senior Trainer, Field Development, is a senior-level training leader responsible for building, certifying, coaching, and evaluating trainers of coaches across the state.Operating within a Train-the-Trainer model, this role ensures scalable, high-quality training delivery, strong behavior management standards, and consistent program implementation across regions.Senior Trainers both develop trainer capability and personally deliver critical statewide training through Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and In-Person Instructor-Led Training (ILT).This role works within the Training Team that reports into Field Operations and directly reports to Director of Training, Field Development.Core Purpose:To strengthen and scale field excellence by:Training and certifying high-quality trainers of coachesDelivering high-impact statewide training initiativesEnsuring consistent and effective training delivery across modalitiesMonitoring implementation fidelity and behavior management standardsManaging QA systems tied to training and program executionServing as the structured feedback loop between field, training, and curriculumResponsibilities:Training & Certification (Train-the-Trainer)Deliver onboarding training for newly hired FTEsDesign and maintain the Trainer Certification process, including:Facilitation competency standardsAdult learning expectationsCertification benchmarksObservation and evaluation toolsCertify FTEs as trainers of coachesObserve trainings and provide structured coaching and feedbackMaintain certification records and progression trackingTraining Delivery (Statewide & Regional)Senior Trainers directly deliver high-impact training across multiple modalities:Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT)Deliver virtual training sessions to FTEs and field leadersEnsure strong engagement and adult learning best practices in virtual environmentsLead virtual rollouts of new programs and updatesIn-Person Instructor-Led Training (ILT)Deliver Site Manager Training (ILT)Lead Summer Pre-Launch Trainings (ILT)Facilitate May Training related to upcoming year program changesModel best-in-class facilitation practices for Elevo trainersProgram Calibration Leadership (Monthly)Lead monthly Program Calibration sessionsEnsure alignment across regions regarding:Behavior management expectationsProgram fidelityTraining delivery standardsOperational prioritiesAddress inconsistencies and reinforce standardsUse calibration sessions to strengthen FTE alignment and performanceNew Program & Annual Change RolloutLead training for annual program updates and strategic shiftsTrain individuals on changes for the upcoming year (May Training)Ensure clarity of messaging, expectations, and execution standardsAlign rollout execution with business priorities and operational goalsSupport trainers in cascading training effectively to coachesQuality Assurance & Field OversightManage QA systems related to training delivery and implementation fidelityConduct site visits, audits, and implementation reviewsMonitor:Training completion ratesCertification complianceProgram implementation qualityBehavior management consistencyIdentify performance risks and escalate patterns requiring interventionFeedback Loop & Continuous ImprovementServe as liaison between Field, Training, and Curriculum teamsIdentify trends across regions requiring training or curriculum refinementProvide structured field insights to inform VILT and ILT content updatesContinuously refine certification and calibration processesSuccess Metrics100% of trainers are successfully certified and re-certifiedTraining delivery quality scores (VILT + ILT observations)Program Calibration alignment metricsCoach training completion ratesProgram fidelity audit resultsBehavior management consistency indicatorsSuccessful adoption of annual program changesPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSRequirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in training facilitation (both virtual and in-person)Strong VILT delivery capabilityExperience operating within a Train-the-Trainer modelCoaching and performance feedback expertiseQuality assurance and implementation oversight experienceTravel requiredPreferred:Experience as a Coach working for ElevoAdvanced facilitation expertiseSkills, Knowledge, & Traits:Operational awareness and field performance insightSystems thinking and scalability mindsetThis position's target annual base pay range is $71,000 - $80,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, and skills.
