Head of Retail

Loop is evolving from a single-channel DTC brand into an omnichannel business. As our Head of Retail, you own how Loop shows up in physical retail. Where we go. With whom. And why. You design, test, and scale a retail channel that delivers profitable growth while strengthening the brand. No playbooks. No safe defaults. All yours. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team as you lead early retail pilots in the US and UK and scale the channel globally, based on proven commercial, brand, and operational results.The roleYou step into ownership from day one. You set the retail direction, define what success looks like, and decide when something is ready to scale, or ready to stop. You move fast, but not blindly. You validate before you scale. You’ll strengthen Loop’s brand in the real world, and prepare the organization to scale retail globally with confidence.What You'll BringProven experience building and scaling a retail channel from zero or near-zero within a rapidly scaling brandDirect experience negotiating and managing senior relationships with large retail partners (e.g. Target, Walmart, or comparable global retailers)Strong ability to translate a digital-first brand into physical retail while maintaining premium positioningDeep understanding of retail and wholesale economics, including margin structures, trade spend, inventory planning, and forecastingExperience with retail merchandising, POS storytelling, and co-op marketing programsBackground in premium, high-margin consumer categories such as designed consumer hardware, audio tech, eyewear, beauty, or similarDemonstrated experience building and leading teams in ambiguous, zero-to-one environmentsStrong strategic judgment and disciplined, data-informed decision-makingGeographic flexibility to be based in either Europe or the USComfortable with change and ambiguity Still listening?Good. Loop takes into consideration a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, skill sets, qualifications, education, and other business and organizational needs. Final salary is based on a number of factors such as location, travel requirements, relevant prior experience, and specific skills or expertise.
