Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organization’s success.Summary Of The JobSenior QA Automation Engineer – Credit Card teamWe're seeking a talented Senior QA Automation Engineer with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript expertise to join our Credit Card team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving quality and reliability across our software applications while advancing our automation capabilities.What You'll Do Define, implement, and maintain advanced automation solutions and strategies for the team Provide technical leadership and guidance to enhance automation effectiveness across the practice Collaborate closely with your agile team, participating in ceremonies and contributing to acceptance criteria development Create and execute test cases and scripts for both manual and automated functional testing Ensure quality issues and defects are properly identified, documented, tracked, and resolved before release Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality credit card featuresWhat You'll Need Strong proficiency in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with agile methodologies and test automation strategies Ability to work on-site in Omaha following our hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship today or in the futureAbout This RoleResponsibilitiesApply Quality Engineering principles throughout the Agile lifecycleLead and Drive ‘Quality / Automation as a Team Mindset’ within the teamExhibit domain knowledge and product expertise for supported applicationsDecompose stories/business requirements into test cases that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected resultsEstimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate/perform and document results of test executionReport, track, and retest defects/bugs prior to releaseParticipate in and conduct regular test case peer reviews and automation code reviewsLead and collaborate with their delivery team to build automated testing into the CI/CD pipelineAnalyze and understand the current technology architecture, system interdependencies and application stacksLead by example in exhibiting initiative for self-learning of new technical skills and toolsDrive consistent improvement and knowledge sharing principles across the teamLead automation strategies/solutions and projects within team and across disciplineEvaluate and propose use of new tools for continuous improvement and driving automation strategies forwardExperience building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining effective test automation solutionsSetting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesSetting up and maintaining Automation FrameworksMentors’ others in test automation, programming, and QA best practicesWorks independently researching, solving, and programming complex automation solutionsThe Ideal Candidate For This RoleEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and/or certifications5+ years of hands-on experience in UI and API test automation5+ years of programming/scripting experience with JavaScript and/or Java3+ years working with Git version control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub, or GitLab)Technical Expertise:Proven experience leveraging AI tools to enhance test script management and automationProficiency with modern automation frameworks and tools including Playwright, TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or SwaggerExperience with web application, microservices, and database automationStrong knowledge of CI/CD practices and pipeline integrationAdditional scripting languages a plus: C#, PowerShell, SQL, XMLTesting Knowledge:Expertise across all testing levels: System, Integration, and RegressionExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworksSkilled in developing and documenting comprehensive regression testing strategiesWorking knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)Deep understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)Agile & Tools:Strong foundation in Agile QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with automation metrics and analytics tools (GitLab, BrowserStack, etc.)Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AccessSoft Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to clearly articulate complex technical information to diverse audiencesCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.CompensationCompensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Work EnvironmentIt is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
