Our dedicated team offers specialized care for:Stroke and cerebrovascular diseasesEpilepsy and seizure disordersMultiple sclerosis and other demyelinating conditionsParkinson's disease and various movement disordersHeadaches and migraine syndromesNeuromuscular disordersCognitive disorders and dementiaOur methodology integrates clinical excellence, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and compassionate, patient-focused care to ensure that every individual feels supported and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.Your RoleAs a Neurologist within our organization, you will:Conduct and interpret comprehensive neurological assessments and diagnostic testsRequest and analyze imaging studies (MRI, CT) and electrodiagnostic evaluations (EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies)Diagnose and manage a diverse range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient environmentsCreate and execute personalized treatment plansProvide ongoing care and long-term management of diseasesAccurately document patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR)Participate in on-call duties as necessaryWork collaboratively with primary care providers, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, and interdisciplinary teamsEducate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and self-management techniquesEssential QualificationsEducation: A Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution; completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency is mandatory.Experience: Board certification or eligibility in Neurology is required. Experience in stroke care and both inpatient and outpatient neurology is preferred.Licensure/Certification: An active medical license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain one). Current DEA registration and CDS permit are required. BLS (CPR) certification must be up to date.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must demonstrate critical thinking, extensive clinical expertise, and proficiency in neurology. Strong collaborative skills with multidisciplinary teams at all levels are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required, along with strong organizational skills.
