Specialized Operations Associate Under the leadership of the Assistant General Manager, Operations, the Specialized Operations Associate is responsible for the daily operations of the General Office and operational functions of the Jewelry Department.Demonstrates comfort in flexing all communication styles and establishes positive interpersonal relationshipsEvaluates progress against key performance drivers and assess organizational opportunities and risksDrives positive outcomes through objectives and measures while monitoring progress and resultsConsistently generates and shares original ideas, tackling both simple and complex problemsAbility to lift cartons up to 15 lbs, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandiseMust have strong computer skills, i.e. Google, MS Office, and adapt to changing technologyAbility to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervisionAbility to work a flexible schedule as per business needs & adheres to Dependability standardsDemonstrates attention to detail and keeps personal work space organizedAbility to apply store policies & procedures to help in decision-makingVerbal and written communication skills; handles telephone and face to face interactions effectively and professionallyMaintains confidentiality when handling issuesOther store initiatives as assigned by managementOpening the store: safe, controller, registers and distributing reportsMaintaining daily functions, including but not limited to; morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, and counting register and petty cashResolving customer issues, both internal and external, i.e. researching/payment of bills, tracking/processing customer packagesFollows Jewelry Standards and Shipping GuidelinesReceive, verify, and properly book all jewelry in accordance with Company standardsEffectively processes re-tickets, RTV's, Transfers, ASN Shipments and price changesRetrieve and process all merchandise to be returned/transferred to the vendor in accordance with Company standardsEnsure case counts are completed, all merchandise is entered into the case count system after receipt, and all discrepancies are reconciledMaintain a repair log, track all repairs sent to the vendor or local shop, and submit repair invoicesReceive and verify all merchandise for trunk shows, assist in show set-up/take down and recap resultsPrepare and submit all special order requests and Statements of Sale when requestedCommunicate with Corporate Merchants, Account Payable, Inventory Control and vendors as neededInternal Audit readiness and adherence to Internal Audit standards, including but not limited to monitoring vault/safe contents to remain up-to-date (audit ready)Assist managers and associates on the selling floor as necessaryProcess Fulfillment ordersAd hoc responsibilities as neededBe a part of a team of disruptors focused on stores and redefining the luxury experienceExposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities, from retail to supply chain, to digital or corporateA culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balanceBenefits package for all eligible full-time Associates (including medical, vision and dental)An amazing Associate discountSFA provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
