This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.WORK SCHEDULEThis position is a 2nd shift, working hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday - Friday**Essential FunctionsReceive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damagePick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standardsLoad and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacksOrganize stock and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle countsOperate warehouse equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment alwaysAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresAssist with other general warehouse duties as assignedJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of warehouse experience Experience with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel & WordStrong attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlinesPrevious warehouse or distribution experience is a plusAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyFamiliarity with inventory systems and handheld scanners is a plusForklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferredAbility to follow instructionsGood communication and teamwork skillsMust be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsCustomer focused attitude: desire to grow with and contribute to a customer focused organizationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
