They are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to build innovative systems and prototypes, contributing to both front-end and back-end components in the rapidly evolving field of AI.Responsibilities:• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems, agents and cutting-edge AI prototypes.• Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and other engineers to translate ideas and research into functional and scalable products.• Build full-stack applications, with opportunities to work on all parts of the technology stack.• Embrace rapid iteration and agile methodologies to quickly deliver and test new features and products.• Contribute to the team's culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.Qualifications:Required:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong track record of building and shipping high-quality software.• Hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)• Experience with building and working with prototypes and iterating quickly based on feedback.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred:• Meaningful experience with front-end development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).• Proficiency with AI tools for coding (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Co-Pilot)• Experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company.Company:SandboxAQ develops AI and quantum technology solutions that enhance biopharma, cybersecurity, and materials science.
