Chief Financial Officer

We’re exclusively representing our client, a well-known brand in the CPG space, in hiring a new CFO.This position will play a key leadership role, working closely with the CEO, board and executive team to achieve the company’s growth and profitability objectives.The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results-oriented leader with extensive financial planning experience within the DTC and retail industry.Responsibilities include:Providing financial and analytical leadership for short and long-range planning initiatives in partnership with leadership teamDeveloping financial models that reflect an aligned approach between business initiatives, investment/capital expenditure strategy, and profitability goalsEvaluating partnerships and supporting negotiation of partner terms and conditions, and new business modelsDeveloping rolling financial forecasts including revenue, margin and operating expenses; as well as analyzing key drivers of actual performance versus forecast/budget. Driving high-level of accountability and ownership with business leaders on performance managementLeading and mentoring finance and accounting teamsSupporting preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly financial business reviews and other reporting for leadership team and BoardIdentifying opportunities to elevate existing processes and tools to support long-term sustainable growthQualifications:Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or EconomicsMBA or CPA preferred10+ years experience in Retail Finance, Financial Planning, Business Planning or similar experiencePrevious experience in Consumer Products or DTC Brands highly desirableStrategic Vision
