Quality (QA/QC) Coordinator - Electrical
HGA is seeking a Quality QA/QC Coordinator (Electrical) to support operations in Rayville, LA. This Electrical QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for leading the quality assurance and quality control efforts for all electrical and low-voltage systems on a large-scale data center project, ensuring installations are safely executed, fully documented, inspection-ready, and delivered in alignment with client standards and zero-defect turnover objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and reinforce safety expectations across all electrical and low-voltage scopes, supporting an Incident-Free Environment (IFE) and performing required HammerTech safety and quality inspections.Provide overall Electrical QA/QC leadership, coordinating with electrical and low-voltage trade partner quality teams, ancillary system teams (BMS, Fire Alarm), OFCI/MOFE vendors, third-party inspectors, and client representatives.Perform daily field walks to verify electrical and low-voltage installation quality, readiness, and compliance with drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and models.Own and manage Electrical and Low-Voltage Definable Features of Work (DFOWs), ensuring prescriptive and descriptive expectations are clearly understood and implemented.Develop, track, and review mock-ups and First-of-Kind (FOK) installations; conduct pre-inspection of equipment prior to owner or third-party inspections.Ensure all required documentation-Asset Tracking Log (ATL), ACC Build uploads, workflows, and supporting evidence-is complete and submitted prior to phase gates (L1 before SIP; L2 before PEI).Generate, track, and resolve electrical and low-voltage quality issues while auditing inspection forms to ensure documentation accuracy and corrective action closure.Manage asset tracking requirements from L1 through L2, including review of asset data prior to Set-In-Place and Pre-Energization Inspections to verify minimum specification compliance.Support development and execution of Level 2 electrical microschedules aligned with the overall project schedule and Critical Power Path (CPP).Conduct readiness inspections to verify trade partners are prepared prior to third-party inspections and energization activities.Coordinate LOTO activities with electrical contractors to ensure safe execution of inspections and testing.Lead pre-installation meetings for OFCI electrical and low-voltage scopes, reviewing submittals, identifying scope gaps, and aligning on ATL and inspection requirements.Coordinate OFCI and MOFE pre-startup and startup activities, documentation, and issue resolution to support Pre-Energization milestones.Train and support QA/QC and production teams on inspection processes, checklist sign-off, issue resolution, and documentation standards.Periodically plan and lead Client Quality Walks and support zero-defect turnover initiatives.Build strong working relationships with trade partners, vendors, and client teams to promote a One-Team project culture.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required3-7+ years of experience in electrical construction, QA/QC, or inspection rolesPrior experience on mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, industrial, or high-reliability infrastructureHands-on experience with electrical and low-voltage installationsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, inspection forms, and commissioning documentationExperience with ACC Build, HammerTech, and electronic inspection workflowsFamiliarity with Asset Tracking Logs (ATL), inspection processes, and turnover documentationPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical training in Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, or Construction ManagementEquivalent military or technical trainingExperience coordinating with trade partners, OFCI/MOFE vendors, and third-party inspectorsDemonstrated ability to support schedule alignment, documentation accuracy, and zero-defect turnover goalsExperience using Power BI or similar reporting toolsAdditional Information• Per Diem: Negotiable HGA is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.
