Ground Mount Project Manager
Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Ground Mount Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the seamless flow of both subcontracted and in-house ground mount installation projects through the pipeline.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with Branch Managers, Project Managers, Permit Coordinators, Field Managers, and Site Audit Supervisors to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner and with excellent customer service
Prepare and analyze pipeline reporting to interface with multiple inter-company teams to execute specific project tasks and resolve escalated project issues
Analyze all project post-site audits, taking note of any present conditions that can cause delays
Review project plans before permit submittal; working with design team to capture all local codes and requirements
Audit project pricing to ensure that all costs associated with the scope of work being completed are accounted for
Take ownership of pipeline management to make sure projects are moving forward; Coordinate the project within expected SLAs and timelines; Document all notations and communications within the project page
Schedule appointments to obtain customer signatures, final paperwork sign off and payment collection. Organize all completed paperwork, and process payments in a compliant, secure manner, if assigned
Assist with routing and scheduling as needed
Understand company and department goals and KPIs. Ensure workstreams are aligned
Provide feedback to management and other departments regarding processes, tools, and best practices
With minimal oversight, utilize knowledge bases and other tools to perform project coordination functions
Perform other duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Management experience within the Solar industry is preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in roofing, electrical, or construction fields
Highly organized, multitasker, with strong attention to detail.
Can of make decisions without constant supervision.
Ability to read and interpret job orders and understand solar specifications.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite; and experience with operational CRM and ERP systems
High School Graduate or GED
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES:
Regularly use office equipment and computers for extended periods of time
Comfortable reviewing and entering information into a computer for extended periods of time
Able to move from sitting to standing positions, bend, twist, and use hands and fingers
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away
Can speak clearly so listeners can understand, and listen to understand another person
Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds
