Position Details Position Type: LocumsSpecialty: Physician - Emergency MedicineDuration: ASAP - Ongoing Facility Information Annual Volume: 42,000 patient visits.Physician Coverage: 36 hours per day.Shift Length: 12-hour shifts.Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Coverage: 36 hours per day.EMR System: Meditech P-doc EMR with M-Modal Dictation for efficient and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.Coverage: Work 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including APPs, to deliver comprehensive emergency care.Admissions: Coordinate patient admissions with hospitalists and other specialists as needed.Documentation: Utilize the Meditech EMR system for patient records and M-Modal for dictation. Qualifications Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in Texas or have the ability to obtain one.Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department is preferred.Certifications: ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
