Occupational Therapist Assistant As the Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be providing occupational therapy to patients to restore them to their fullest physical ability.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for following all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only as defined by the supervising OTFollowing the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistantsObserves, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's conditionInstructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistantAbility to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the clientRequired Qualifications:Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practiceCurrent driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportationPreferred Qualifications:Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hireDemonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrate ability to work independentlyGood communication, writing, and organizational skillsPay Range $49,500 - $109,300 annual total cash target pay $26.19 - $57.92 per visit point $21.83 - $48.27 hourly rate
