The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.Qualifications:Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant StudiesCurrent FL State Licensure as an APRN or PACurrent BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PAMust have 3-5 years? experience for the per diem position in level 1 through 3 units.***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.Salary Range: Minimum 69.64/hour - Maximum 69.64/hour.
