Regional Director (IDD Residential)
DescriptionCommunity Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing residential group home, day habilitation and supported employment services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 12 states.We are currently seeking a qualified and dynamic Regional Director of IDD Services to oversee operations in Western, PA. This supervisory role guides operations in Butler, Indiana, North Allegheny, Pittsburgh, Washington, and Westmoreland. The Regional Director supervises seven local Executive Directors within their regional area and oversees the entire operations of each of those regions. This includes collaborating with the local and national teams in addition to county and state entities in order to maintain full licensure and balanced budgets.ResponsibilitiesSupervises Executive Directors and ensures that they are completing their essential functionsAssist Executive Directors in developing and maintaining an effective Community Options Business Advisory Council (COBAC)Oversee compliance with state and corporate regulationsAssists and oversees new development of residential homes, Community Participation Support, Supported Employment, and other qualified servicesRepresent COI at local speaking opportunities for a variety of purposes including staff recruitment, COBAC recruitment, new development, public relations, community education and moreParticipate in local Quality Assurance teamActs as the Executive Director in the absence of an Executive Director in the region they overseeResponsible for developing and overseeing proper execution of budgetsEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigationAdditional tasks and responsibilities may be assignedMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree requiredThree to five years of relevant experience working in the ID fieldValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordAbility to partner across internal/external stakeholders, government officials, and industry associationsExcellent time management skills, with the ability work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.Confident with public speaking at events, conferences, and on social media platformsTeam oriented with demonstrated leadership experienceAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to present facts and recommendations effectively.Ability to patiently impart knowledge to others.Competitive BenefitsCompetitive Salary Potential Bonus Opportunities Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision) Day 1 Paid Holidays—Including a Birthday Holiday Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Incentive & Discount Programs 403b Retirement Plan with Employer Match Exceptional Career Growth Opportunities Leadership Academy Training Opportunity Duke University Management Certificate Opportunity University partnerships that include tuition reduction Please Visit Our Website to Complete an Online Application!
