Our community offers a full continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.Position DetailsSchedule: Variable Monday-Friday with some weekend availability requiredStatus: PRN (as needed)Pay Range: $16-$18/hour based on experienceOpenings: 2 positions available SummaryProvides safe and reliable transportation for residents to appointments, outings, and community activities. Supports the transportation needs of the campus while ensuring safety, timeliness, and excellent customer service.Essential FunctionsProvide safe, courteous, and reliable transportation for residentsAssist with scheduled trips, appointments, and outingsMaintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehiclesFollow DOT guidelines and complete required transportation logsUse Worx Hub to manage and track transportation schedulesReport any incidents, concerns, or resident issues to appropriate staffSupport transportation needs across all levels of careComplete required trainings (annual, quarterly, monthly)Follow all policies while maintaining resident dignity and confidentialityAvailability for some evenings and weekends QualificationsCDL Requirement:This position requires a valid CDL Class A or B license with Passenger (P) endorsement. Candidates without this requirement will not be considered.High school diploma or equivalentValid North Carolina driver's licensePrior driving or transportation experience preferredStrong communication and customer service skillsExperience working with older adults preferredAbility to obtain CPR/BLS certification within 5 months of hireFamiliarity with Worx Hub (preferred)
