Application Engineer

Hug Engineering US is seeking an Application Engineer to take technical ownership of exhaust aftertreatment systems for high‑horsepower mobile and stationary engines. In this role, the Application Engineer will act as the primary technical contact for internal teams and external customers, coordinating project-specific engineering activities and defining technical scope, objectives, and budgets. ResponsibilitiesTake technical ownership of the overall Exhaust Aftertreatment System (including steel components, catalysts, particulate filters, process equipment and control algorithms)Act as the primary technical contact for internal teams (e.g. Sales and Project Management) and external customersCoordinate project-specific engineering activities with internal and external stakeholdersQualificationsSuccessfully completed engineering degree in process or mechanical engineering or comparable 3-5 years of professional experience in plant design or technical system developmentKnowledge of exhaust gas aftertreatment and combustion engines is an advantage
