Material Handler

We're currently representing a client in the Stuart area that is seeking to hire a Material Handler. Duties: Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles using forklifts or other equipment Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or other designated areas within the warehouse Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and update records Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing shipments Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials are stored properly Experience: Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, or other material handling equipment Knowledge of warehouse management systems and ability to navigate computerized inventory systems Familiarity with order picking processes and ability to meet productivity targets Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork and documentation Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Application Question(s): Can you pass a background check and drug test?
