PREWEIGH TECHNICIAN - 3rd Shift

Benefits include, but are not limited to, tuition assistance, medical, dental, vision, disability, group life insurance, 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, and vacations.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate between scheduling and warehouse team daily concerning any raw material variancesReturn remaining raw materials after Preweigh processes complete according to warehouse specificationsFollow all instructions on production cards and daily scheduleKeep accurate production records and accurate reporting in SAP and report information dailyInspect raw materials, in-process, and finished goods for proper weight, color, overall appearance, texture, labeling, packaging, and correcting/reporting defectsCoordinate with supervisors daily concerning any scheduling variances and process improvements.Perform proper sanitation, housekeeping, and safety proceduresHelp maintain equipment, reporting, and/or resolving any breakdowns or problemsParticipate in all team/department meetingsActively participate in Continuous Improvement initiativesRequired QualificationsBasic math, reading, and writing skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsBasic computer knowledgeAbility to work in a dusty environment with strong odors and high noise/decibel levelsAbility to work in an environment with potential exposure to chemicals and cleaning agentsAbility to work overtime on short notice and on weekendsAbility to work in a team environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3 years in a manufacturing environmentHigh school diploma or GEDProven mechanical abilityPreweigh experienceSAP experienceMcCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
