Apply via Dice today!Role: Business Analyst - Payments (Retail/Ecommerce)Location: Seattle, WADuration: 12+ MonthsRole OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Payments and hands-on experience in Retail/Ecommerce domain. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting payment integrations, and ensuring seamless transaction flows across digital commerce platforms.Key Responsibilities:Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for payment systems and ecommerce platformsWork closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define payment workflows (card, digital wallets, gateways, POS)Support integrations with payment processors, gateways, and third-party systems (OMS, ERP, fraud tools)Analyze transaction flows including authorization, settlement, refunds, and chargebacksCreate BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagramsParticipate in UAT, validate test cases, and ensure business requirements are metEnsure compliance with payment standards such as PCI-DSS and security best practicesRequired Skills:Strong experience in Payments domain (cards, gateways, digital payments, POS)Experience in Retail/Ecommerce platforms and order lifecycleKnowledge of payment integrations, APIs, and transaction processingFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong stakeholder communication and analytical skillsPreferred:Experience with global payment systems and multi-currency environmentsExposure to fraud prevention and risk systems.
