Job Title : Logistics AnalystJob Description :Utilizing analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes. Data management, analyzing performance, and identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support logistics management. U.S. Citizenship is required. A valid passport is desirable.Duties and responsibilities :Working knowledge of the governing supply systems, operations and processes, policies, quality, and other established guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, highly organized, excellent problem-solving skills and being a team player is critical.Support vendor/business partner relationshipsAnalytical ability to define and recognize any issues involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, or recommend action based upon established guidelinesConduct analysis and creating reports on metrics and forecastsMonitor and track shipment details, verify causes of delivery delays, and respond to customer's inquiries and concernsManage the systems and procedures regarding shipping and delivery requests and scheduling, as neededTrack and prepare reports on inventory and stock supply levelsEnsure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirementsFulfill order, following proper packing process and deployment of goodsIdentify areas of improvementEnsure accurate labeling and disbursement of equipmentUtilize, web-based logistics tracking software to use, monitor and update the flow of inventory and tracking containersMay be required to perform other duties outside of the supply role and other duties as assignedMust be able to lift approximately 50lbsParticipate in safety training and adhere to safety protocolsAdhere to company's QMS policies, procedures, and guidelinesSome assembly may be requiredEducation/Experience:Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearanceHS Diploma or equivalent with 6-12 years of experience; preferred experience in logistics, transportation and/or supplyBS/BA with 2 years of experience; degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related fieldSpecialized training courses are desirable.
