AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in Lexington Park is seeking a dependable Automotive Technician to join our team.We are looking for a technician who is comfortable performing diagnostics, general automotive repairs, and routine maintenance while supporting transmission removal and installation work as needed.This position is a good fit for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working efficiently, and continuing to develop their mechanical skills.ResponsibilitiesPerform vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issuesConduct routine maintenance including oil changes and vehicle inspectionsPerform general repairs such as brakes, suspension, cooling system, and basic engine workAssist with transmission removal and installation when neededAccurately document diagnostic findings and repair workMaintain a clean and organized work areaQualificationsExperience performing automotive diagnostics and general repairsAbility to complete routine maintenance and common mechanical repairsStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work efficiently in a team environmentTransmission experience is helpful but not required.
