IT Support Specialist - Temporary AssignmentPosition Overview We are seeking a reliable IT Support Specialist for a temporary assignment to provide frontline technical support and maintain a stable, productive technology environment. The role focuses on supporting end users across desktop and mobile platforms, with emphasis on MacOS device administration and familiarity with Blackbaud systems. This is a contract role ideal for someone who can quickly troubleshoot issues, communicate clearly with non-technical staff, and contribute to short-term IT projects and deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support for end users via phone, email, and in-person, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain MacOS desktops and laptops, including system updates, security settings, and peripheral setup.Support and administer Blackbaud applications and assist with user account and permission management within Blackbaud systems.Install, configure, and image workstations and mobile devices; manage software deployment and patching.Log, track, and resolve incidents using the helpdesk ticketing system; escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary.Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation, including configuration notes and standard operating procedures.Assist with short-term IT projects, rollouts, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to users.Deliver clear, patient end-user training and create user-friendly documentation, FAQs, or quick-reference guides.QualificationsAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.2+ years of IT support experience with demonstrable success supporting end users in a business environment.Hands-on experience administering MacOS systems, including troubleshooting, imaging, and updates.Practical experience with Blackbaud products or similar CRM/ERP platforms is strongly preferred.Proficient with common helpdesk tools, ticketing systems, and remote support utilities.Solid understanding of Windows desktop support, basic network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), and printer/network peripheral troubleshooting.Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Ability to work on a temporary/contract basis, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and pass background/credential checks as required.BenefitsMedical Benefits  Email Your Resume In Word ToPaula.Pearl@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
