The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership in machine learning and NLP models for production, working across different ML and engineering teams, and owning new projects that support various business functions and product development. This role also involves partnering directly with the C-suite on data science direction, expanding existing AI platforms, and providing deep knowledge and leadership in data science.Applicants for the Chief Data Scientist position at the company should have a PhD in computer science or a similar STEM field, with a history of owning the development of scalable ML models in federal spaces. Team management experience, strong Python coding skills, and a high level of comfort in partnering with executive teams are essential. Experience with NLP, defense, or cybersecurity, as well as comfort with LLMs, generative AI, and AI agents, is preferred.
