The primary goal of a wealth management group is to help clients grow and preserve their wealth while providing expert guidance to navigate complex financial situations and achieve their long-term financial objectives.We are currently looking for a Portfolio Trading Specialist in office in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location. The ideal candidate will:Manages equity income portfolios for high net worth clients. Portfolios will be invested in a broad range of investment grade instruments under a variety of client mandates. Identifies relative value trading opportunities within the market and amongst issuers; executes buy and sell orders as required and/or directed by clients; monitors client portfolios; meets with clients and their relationship managers as needed to identify and recommend hedging and overlay strategies. Works closely with other portfolio managers and investment team members. The Sr Specialist may supervise less experienced specialists. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Requires a Bachelor's and 4+ years experience with equity income portfolios, investment products, or other directly related experience. Series 7 and 63, 65, or 66 preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. Extensive knowledge of fixed income investment and of investment products, services and terminology. Excellent attention to detail, an exceptionally high degree of initiative and adaptability, and the ability to multi-task. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. The ability to perform a wide variety of complex and confidential tasks with speed and accuracy. Strong analytical skills are needed in order to solve operational problems. Must be able to exercise independent judgment. Excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills. Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Outlook.
