Licensed Practical Nurse

AccessPoint RI is a nonprofit organization located in Cranston, RI. We are seeking a Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse to assist our Residential Program and Personal Choice Program as needed.Job DutiesTo provide competent professional medical services to all the individuals receiving day and residential services. To comprehensively deliver care to individuals utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. To interact with individuals and their families, clinicians, and direct support staff effectively and professionally.Answer phone calls and document information as necessary. Call providers as needed for questions, or concerns, or obtain updates as needed.Notify clients families for any incidents.Visit clients in the group homes as needed.Attend staff meetings as needed.Coordinate services with the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech as needed.Ensure bills are paid accurately and in a timely manner. Perform all other duties as needed. Must obtain an LPN Certification or Diploma from an accredited school. Two to four years of LPN experience preferred. Experience with adults who have developmental disabilities. Must pass a state background check. Must have a valid drivers license.
