Many of our leaders started in entry-level roles, and we're committed to helping motivated team members grow their careers with us.Routine Tasks:Prepare and execute Joseph's recipes for proteins, vegetables, starches, and other menu itemsMaintain Joseph's standards for product freshness and sanitationEnsure all items are plated, packaged, and presented according to Joseph's quality and appearance standardsReplenish, rotate, and maintain products and display casesOperate knives, ovens, stoves, grills, scales, wrapping machines, and other Kitchen equipmentAssist with other tasks as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageFood preparation or kitchen experience preferredFood safety knowledge or ServSafe certification a plusAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic math and reading skillsStrong attention to detail and visual presentationTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeA passion for serving peoplePhysical & Work EnvironmentA Kitchen Prep Cook works primarily in the Kitchen department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods, lifting and moving products weighing up to 80 pounds, and working in both preparation rooms and refrigerated coolers. You will be exposed to varying temperatures and work environments throughout the day.
