Senior Software Engineer, DBaaS
A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, DBaas - US Federal.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, develop, and manage DBaaS services for database infrastructure
Design and develop APIs to enhance the availability, scalability, and performance of databases across multiple clouds
Provide support for large-scale database instances and participate in on-call rotation for database infrastructure
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, CloudSQL, and other cloud-native databases
4+ years of backend development experience using modern programming languages (Golang, Python, Java)
4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
4+ years of experience managing clustered, highly-available database services on Linux
Minimum 5+ years of experience with modern DevOps technologies and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
