DescriptionAssists or prepares food items and serves food to residents within scheduled time frame.Cleans and maintains food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.Assists Director of Dining Services in maintaining inventory control.Supervises dietary aides in the absence of the Director of Dining Services.Maintains clean, neat and safe work environment.Assures that residents diets are followed.Assures team members and resident guest meals are accounted for on a daily basis.Reports to Director of Dining Services any loss, breakage or waste of supplies and equipment.Observes and communicates to Director of Dining Services problems or potential problems in the dietary department.Maintains current cleaning list and highest standards for kitchen cleanliness.Performs all other duties assigned by any member of management.Maintains current logs for chemicals, temperatures, etc.QualificationsQualifications:Keep all required licensure (ServSafe, Food Handler's Card, CPR/First Aid) in good standing at all times. Physical DemandsAbility to push, pull, and lift at least 50lbs. Ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs. Ability to continuously walk or stand. Universal PrecautionsPotential exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Potential exposure to communicable diseases.
