If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America - we want to hear from you!ABOUT THE ROLEThe dump truck driver is responsible for operating a super 18 dump truck to transport asphalt, aggregate and other materials to various job site locations.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHOperates truck in a safe and professional manner while complying with HOLCIM's safety standards including all state and federal regulations.Performs daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.Punctual and prepared to load at the assigned scheduled time at all times.Effectively communicates with dispatch departmentPerforms preventive maintenance such as regularly checking air pressure in tires, checks fluid levels including oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Performs minor repairs to truck as needed; refers major issues to supervisor.Maintain appearance of truck.Maintain professional attitude with all internal and external customers and peers both in person and on radio communications while providing excellent customer service.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.Other duties as assigned.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORLicenses Required: Valid Class B CDL (tanker endorsement preferred)Minimum of one year of related work experienceManual TransmissiontruckPrior experience working in contracting, construction materials or transporting equipment preferredAbility to communicate effectively verbally and writing.Ability to do basic mathematical calculationsMust pass DOT physical and have clean driving recordMust be registered for the FMCSA ClearinghouseMust be willing to work in dusty and dirty work environments.May be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles.Noise level is low to moderateMust be willing and able to work in all outside weather conditions.Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty and job sites.May require sitting for extended periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.Additional Requirements:* Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
