Ideal candidates will have a collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting both our patients and our team’s goals.Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experienceSchedule: Monday - Friday 8AM – 4:30PMBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts401(K) with discretionary employer matchPaid Time OffFree clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in houseIn This Role, You Will Be Responsible ForAdministrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening. Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.Reliability: Maintaining consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients.Education & CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperienceAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in a clinical laboratory, pre-analytical processing, or healthcare setting preferredLicensure/CertificationAbility to pass a standardized color vision test requiredPhlebotomy certification preferred but not requiredSkills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn laboratory information systemsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet turnaround time expectationsDependability, adaptability, and willingness to support evolving laboratory needsCommitment to patient safety, quality, and confidentialityPhysical Requirements: Work is performed in a clinical laboratory environment. Duties may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workbench, working on a computer, and repetitive hand motions. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 15 pounds, bending, reaching, and occasional stress related to turnaround time pressures.
