Shipping Operator

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shipping Operator at our facility in Woonsocket, RI! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring that our products are shipped efficiently and accurately. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the shipping process from start to finish. Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and compliant with shipping regulations. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Communicate with carriers and suppliers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock for outgoing shipments. Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with team members to improve shipping processes and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in shipping or logistics preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in shipping. Tasks Include but are not limited to: Shipping department- Package orders of powder into containers from 1 quart to 5 gallons Follow written packing instructions to ensure orders are packed correctly Complete shipping paperwork Load and unload blenders Transfer materials using a pallet jack or powered pallet picker Ensure packing procedures are followed on all batches Assist inventory control regarding transfer issues Work with maintenance regarding upkeep of equipment Hours: 3 Days per week 7am-12pm OR 9am-3pm
