If you’re passionate about transforming housing into a platform for positive change, join us in our exciting journey to reshape the affordable housing landscape.Key Responsibilities:Debt and Equity Arrangement:Lead efforts to structure and arrange both debt and equity for our affordable workforce housing projects.Utilize existing relationships with lenders, equity investors, and financial institutions to secure favorable financing terms.Develop customized financing strategies to align with our project goals and business plans.Market Analysis and Strategy Development:Conduct market analysis to identify optimal financing opportunities and potential equity partners for upcoming and ongoing projects.Develop and implement financing strategies tailored to affordable and workforce housing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.Analyze financial models, project pro formas, and market trends to support capital-raising efforts.Relationship Management:Leverage existing network and establish new relationships with lenders, CDFIs (Community Development Financial Institutions), equity investors, and other financial partners.Act as the primary point of contact for financing discussions, negotiations, and arrangements.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project financing.Advisory and Consultation:Advise on available tax credits, grants, and other financing programs that can be leveraged for affordable and workforce housing.Guide the internal team in navigating financial complexities and structuring deals that maximize value for the company and investors.Provide regular updates and financial reports to senior management, including progress on capital-raising efforts and partnership development.Qualifications:Proven experience in debt and equity financing, specifically within the affordable and workforce housing sector.Deep relationships with lenders, equity investors, and financial institutions focused on affordable housing finance.Strong understanding of tax credits, grants, and other financing programs available for affordable housing projects.Excellent financial modeling skills and the ability to develop and present comprehensive financing strategies.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Ability to work independently as a consultant while integrating seamlessly with the internal team.
