Customer Care Associate
Description:
General Summary
The Customer Care Associate provides service and support to King & Prince Seafood customers by processing orders, resolving issues and managing accounts receivables.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week in office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enters data for sales orders
Web (portal) based/ERP based revision of sales orders
Resolves sales order EDI problems.
Investigates reported mis-shipments
Ensures release of all outside warehouse orders after credit approval process is completed
Confirms all sales orders to brokers and distributors via fax, electronic, or EDI notification
Initiates return authorizations and submits for approval
Prepares export documentation and notification of USDC inspected product requirements
Handles broker, distributor and customer calls
Responds to requests from Sales team
Participates in cost saving and process improvement initiatives
Understands and complies with relevant policies and procedures
Invoices delivery by email/fax for all non-EDI customers
Investigates all OS&D issues working closely with Logistics/Customer Finance
Updates Discovery SDS Sales reporting system
Requirements:
1-3 years of customer service experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Professionalism and excellent customer service skills
MS Office proficiency
Attention to detail
ERP skills; accounts receivable and inventory management software experience preferred
Strong oral and written communications skills
Planning and organizational skills
