Youth Pastor

Title: Part-Time Youth Pastor (20 hrs/week) Reports to: Lead Pastor Purpose: Lead and organize an effective youth ministry (grades ~6-12), implementing fellowship, worship, Biblical teaching, discipleship, and evangelism. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership to the overall youth ministry, including achievement of ministry goals & objectives. Model and raise the value of a Christ-centered lifestyle within the youth of the church. Build a growing youth ministries team—adult volunteers and student leaders—to reach un-churched youth. Maintain strong relationships with youth, parents, staff, school/community leaders. Provide individual counseling/spiritual direction for youth. Prepare and monitor annual youth budget and manage fundraising/student fees. Qualifications: Prior youth ministry/leadership experience working with teens. Strong communication, organizational, relational skills; ability to cast vision. Personal, growing relationship with Jesus; model Christ-like lifestyle. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per month Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week Work Location: In person
