PACS Administrator - Imaging Applications

PACS AdministratorPay Rate: $45–$60 per hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced PACS Administrator to support and optimize cardiology and clinical imaging systems within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing cardiovascular PACS and related imaging applications, along with strong knowledge of DICOM standards and clinical workflow integration. A local candidate is preferred due to the initial on-site requirement during the first six months.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, implement, and support cardiology IT applications and imaging systemsAdminister and optimize:Fuji Synapse Cardiovascular PACSGE/Merge HemoEpiphany ECGCerner RadNet / RISBuild and maintain custom clinical templates to streamline reporting and improve data captureEnsure seamless integration between PACS and EHR systems, including Cerner EHRSupport DICOM imaging protocols including acquisition, archiving, retrieval, and system interoperabilityPerform system configuration, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenanceProvide end-user support and training as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Science, Business, Finance, or related field OR equivalent work experienceMinimum three (3) years of experience in design, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrading, testing, and support of clinical imaging applications, such as:Fuji PACS / CVCerner RadNetPowerScribe 360Varian AriaNatus XltekProvationOr equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong understanding of DICOM imaging standards and PACS/EHR integrationsExperience working in clinical or hospital environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting cardiology imaging workflowsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical staff
