Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to help ensure our facility operates at the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and food safety compliance. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys training others, improving processes, and playing a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant plant environment.As the Compliance Coordinator, you will partner closely with plant leadership and employees to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while helping build a strong culture of safety and accountability across the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure plant-wide compliance with OSHA, EPA, food safety, and company safety standards.Manage and maintain the ESA compliance database, ensuring tasks, incidents, and corrective actions are documented and completed on time.Develop and deliver training programs for employees and new hires on safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Conduct annual compliance reviews, audits, and inspections, maintaining required documentation and communications with corporate leadership and regulatory agencies.Monitor workplace practices and equipment to ensure ongoing safety and environmental compliance.Lead the plant safety committee, facilitating meetings, identifying risks, and implementing improvement initiatives.Support plant operations with special projects and cross-functional initiatives.Assist with employee hiring processes and random drug testing coordination.Review operational procedures to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.Participate in community and company meetings as a representative of the facility.Provide coverage for plant supervisory roles when needed and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s licenseTwo or more years of relevant experience in safety, compliance, environmental health, or plant operationsKnowledge of OSHA regulationsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to work effectively with diverse teams and cross-functional groupsBasic math and computer skillsPreferredKnowledge of EPA regulations, SQF (Safe Quality Food), and FSMAFamiliarity with PSM (Process Safety Management) and NFPA standardsExperience developing or delivering employee training programsWhy Join St. Joe Soy?Opportunity to play a key leadership role in plant safety and complianceWork in a stable, growing agricultural and manufacturing industryBe part of a team committed to operational excellence and employee safetyOpportunities to expand your knowledge of regulatory compliance and plant operationsWho We AreAg Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products.
