Music Librarian Aide WS, Student

This position is responsible for the distribution, collection and organization of the choral library documents/sheet music. Required Qualifications: Education and Experience: Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better, and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College. Skills and Abilities: Requires basic office operations knowledge and skills. Must be able to use Google Sheets. Must be able to communicate effectively with large groups of people. Must be able to perform the duties of the position efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision and following well-defined policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate clearly with diverse populations in a courteous manner, exercising patience, either over the phone or in person. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals from all cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Requires the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Work is normally performed in an office setting with little or no exposure to health and safety hazards. Some evening hours may be required. Essential Duties: Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Library. Update Choral Library Database. Communicate with the Department Chair on music quantity and inventory needs. Ensure equipment and music department items are accounted for and update the database. Distribute, Collect and Organize Choral Uniforms. Communicate with the Department Chair on uniform quantity and inventory needs.
