Conduct engaging product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for checkout processes, including cash handling and credit card transactions. Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory. Manage stock levels through stocking, inventory checks, and replenishment to keep the store inviting and well-supplied. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support store operations by performing cashiering duties, basic math calculations for transactions, and cash handling procedures. Assist with promotional activities and suggest additional products to enhance customer purchases. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience for all customers. Utilize bilingual skills when needed to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Requirements Prior retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers in person and over the phone. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is highly desirable. Knowledge of grocery store operations or experience working in a grocery environment is advantageous. Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise as needed.
