Laser Operator

Overview: We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a tube laser cutting machines to produce high-quality structural components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate tube laser cutting machine to cut, shape, and form metal components according to specifications - Load and unload materials onto the machine using cranes or other lifting equipment - Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper cutting and make adjustments as needed -Operate plasma table as needed - Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required standards - Perform routine maintenance on the machine, such as cleaning and lubricating, to ensure optimal performance - Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents - Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and achieve production goals - Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area - Perform other tasks as assigned Experience: - Previous experience operating a tube laser cutting machine is required. Mazak experience a plus. - Familiarity with machining processes, such as stamping press or plasma cutting, is a plus - Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials is desirable - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings - Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately - Strong attention to detail and quality control skills We offer competitive pay based on experience, along with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
