About the Role:We're seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction teams across development, supply chain coordination, project accounting, and direct project execution. This role oversees multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.What You'll Do:Oversee day-to-day construction activities across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring schedule and budget targets are metManage a team of external construction project managersCoordinate internal resources supporting supply chain management for owner-furnished equipment and materialsChampion jobsite safety as the top priority, enforcing compliance with company policies, jobsite safety plans, and all applicable safety regulationsDrive entitlement processes for mission-critical facility developments, including building permits and local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) approvalsIdentify opportunities to expedite permitting and build relationships with local jurisdictions and subject matter experts to support project timelinesPartner with project managers to align permit timelines with construction schedulesCollaborate with design and construction teams to develop schedules that support key project milestonesBuild and maintain relationships that strengthen the company's position as an industry leaderPartner with internal and external teams to continuously improve processes and protocolsOperate effectively as both a team leader and collaborative team member across internal and external groupsDemonstrate strong planning skills and lead through influence as a proactive partnerSupport preparation of construction and development cost estimates, project budgets, and unit cost reportsLead the project team through planning, and organize/conduct pre-award and pre-construction meetingsParticipate in value engineering, contract negotiations, and scope-of-work developmentReview plans and specifications for completeness and consistency, and plan successful execution of construction contractsOversee contractor procurement, buyout, and submittals — ensuring budgets and procurement timelines align with the construction scheduleMonitor project sites for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance, and manage project risk plansNegotiate change orders and manage resulting cost/budget impactsReview and approve monthly pay applicationsManage project design and construction cost payments, coordinate with accounting on payments and lien releases, and lead job cost reviewsCoordinate with commissioning teams to ensure smooth vendor and contractor turnover to end customersManage project closeout procedures, including as-built drawings, closeout documentation, and certificates of substantial completionTrack project costs, allowances, and contingencies using financial softwareSolve problems at both tactical and strategic levelsDeliver data-driven insights and action plans to support executive decision-makingMitigate project risk through proactive planning and strong partnerships
